General Secretary of Spanish Treasury since January 2024. Chair of the FROB, the Spanish executive resolution authority from 2020 until 2024, which has played a fundamental role in leading the process of banking sector restructuring in Spain and which is today responsible for the execution of resolution processes of financial institutions. Member of the Board of Directors at Sareb from 2020 until 2024. She also represented Spain on the Single Resolution Board Plenary from 2020 until 2024. Director at the Resolution Directorate of FROB in 2019. She had been working at the Resolution Directorate of FROB since 2015. She held various positions at the Secretariat-General of the Treasury and Financial Policy before 2015, where she was actively involved in the creation of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), the negotiations for financial assistance to Spain, the bailout of Greece and the implementation of the Banking Union, particularly the negotiations for the Resolution Directive and the creation of the Single Resolution Fund.

Miguel Cruz is an expert in Spanish and international securitization transactions and debt security issues, including corporate bonds, project bonds, high-yield bonds and promissory notes. He also specializes in national and international corporate financing, including debt refinancing. Miguel regularly advises funds and financial institutions on buying and selling interests in syndicated loans. From 2011 to 2012, he worked at Cuatrecasas’s London office where he participated in several international transactions. He has lectured in the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and speaks regularly on master programs and courses at Universidad Carlos III, Universidad CEU and Afi Global Education. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.

She has participated in numerous mergers and acquisitions involving national and international insurance companies. It also specializes in tax advice for transactions in Spain, including all types of equity transactions (joint ventures, private M&A), debt (securitization, structured products, refinancings) and real estate assets; as well as structuring investments in Spain by non-resident investors and advising on inspection procedures. He is a member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid. She is a professor in the Master's Program in Tax Consulting at the IE Business School Institute and a regular speaker at conferences and colloquiums.
